Join us in the bar at 7pm for an informal whisky tasting. We have 80 whiskies in our bar, and our resident whisky ambassador will take you through the different tastes of Scottish whiskies explaining the delights of each area of production and help you understand the secrets of this wonderful drink.
Then, enjoy a 3 course dinner served in our conservatory restaurant.31st December 2010
Breakfast: A choice from our breakfast buffet and a choice from our cooked breakfast menu, which includes porridge, local eggs, full cooked Scottish breakfast, kippers, haddock, and more.
The day is your own, and we can organise shooting, fishing, golf or any of the other activities that are available in the local area for you. (Cost not included in the package.) See our activities page.
New Years Eve.Hogmanay at Muckrach is a truly special, Black Tie event. We begin with exquisite canapés and a glass of champagne, served in the bar at 7pm. Our six course Hogmanay banquet is served at 8pm. Specially selected wines will accompany each course. A piper in full regalia and a troupe of traditional Scottish dancers will entertain you during dinner. As the Big Ben bongs announce the start of 2011 and a new decade, champagne is served and BBC Radio Scotland will provide traditional Scottish music and sounds while you are visually entertained with a firework display in our grounds. A minibus will be driving to Grantown and the annual Town Square party and world record breaking 'Strip the Willow' contest, for those guests who wish to brave the elements and sample this unique highland event.

Breakfast/brunch buffet. Enjoy a Bloody Mary or a Bucks Fizz with a wonderful breakfast/brunch buffet. Served at the reasonable hour of 10 until 12.
Relax in our lounge or go for a good walk on the Moray coast.

Breakfast and check out.The cost of a three night Hogmanay break is £425 per person based on 2 sharing a small, standard bijoux double room, or just £499 in a superior room.
Family rooms are available. Children staying in the same room as their guardians are charged for the period according to age: 0 to 2: free; 2 - 9: £75; 10 - 14: £180; 14 to 17: £250.
Two night breaks are available at £325, or £375 in a superior room. The price includes all drinks listed in the package, all meals and VAT. Excludes service charge
