Places To Eat

Muckrach Lodge is renowned for the quality and presentation of its food. We recognise that our resident guests will want to sample other places to eat during their stay with us, and these are the places we can personally recommend.

The Glasshouse (closed Mondays) Chef Patron Steve Robertson runs this stylish and high quality restaurant with his wife Karen. The food is excellent, which is no surprise as Steve was head chef here at Muckrach for several years.

La Taverna Buffet lunches, dinners, full menu and not bad pizzas at this Italian restaurant run by Italians.
La Teverna, Aviemore

The Indian Restaurant in Grantown, opposite the co-op, has come along in leaps and bounds since the arrival of a new Bangladeshi chef last autumn. The menu is excellent and of a very high quality.

In addition to the dinner destinations above, there are several lovely coffee shops, family restaurants, chippies and a Chinese takeaway all available in Grantown.
