Romantic Two Night BreakThe romance of the highlands has beckoned couples for centuries. Perhaps it is the bigness of the horizon, the power of the hills and the glorious fecundity of the valleys that makes a person want to inhale deeply and share their joy of that moment with another. Or maybe it is the knowledge that at Muckrach they will receive a genuine welcome and be pampered and spoilt in a way few other hotels can match. Either way, we are delighted to welcome couples looking for something special during their time in Scotland, and we have designed this two night break with the two of you in mind.
DAY 1
A perfectly chilled bottle of Champagne awaits you in your room, and your four poster bed* is adorned with flowers. A gift pack of essential oils and sumptuous bath products, and a small pack of chocolates hand made in our own kitchen completes your welcome.
At dinner you may choose from our specially created menu just for two consisting of sensational dishes such as Chateaubriand**, Lobster**, Sea bass or leg of lamb**. With the sea only fifteen miles away, we have an abundance of seafood on offer including our Royal Platter** of crab, langoustine, mussels and oysters, all brilliantly presented on ice and all renowned for their aphrodisiac properties. Our full A la Carte menu is also available for you should you wish.
DAY 2
A glass of Champagne or Bucks Fizz is served to accompany your breakfast choice from our full service breakfast menu, after which your time is your own until lunchtime.
Luncheon is a unique event and consists of a romantic picnic, in the open air if weather permits, for just the two of you. Here, in the idyllic surroundings of our ten acre grounds, you will enjoy a wonderful selection of dishes freshly prepared by our kitchen that morning. Your food and chilled wine is served by a member of our staff who is there to look after you exclusively. Alternatively, you may prefer to take this sumptuous picnic away with you, and enjoy it at one of the thousands of idyllic spots you will find in the area.
After lunch your time is your own - perhaps a romantic walk in the primeval Forest of Garten a short drive away, or a stroll up the hill to 15th Century Muckrach Castle or a treatment from our qualified masseuse, or a trip to MacDonalds Highland Resort luxury pool and spa**, a game of golf or a trip to a distillery** All can be arranged for you - just ask.
Dinner is served that evening in our conservatory dining room.
DAY 3
Take your time and check out after your champagne breakfast or any time until 1pm
Our romantic two night stay, two dinners, one luncheon and two breakfasts is just £595 for two.
