Triopadvisor repeatedly publish false reviews about us. For instance, reviews about Christmas in July, poor food reviews just after a chef has walked out, and most recently a review post by someone who obviously have never been near the hotel.We have had some success in getting these removed, although it does take a long time and a lot of cajoling, threatening and general niusance making to get it done.
Worst of all, unlike the reviewer, we cannot post responses unless they adhere to strict tripadvisor guidelines. We cannot for instance, write that a review is false or untrue, even when they blatantly are.
For genuine reviews go to www.booking.com or www.laterooms.com These sites invite genuine travellers who book hotels through them to review their stay, and are much more genuine than some of the nonsense on tripadvisor.
